You may know the importance of “preserving health” (养生). But do you truly understand it and know how to do it?

Contrary to popular belief, many diseases do not happen overnight. It’s vital to nourish your body on a daily basis, rather than wait until it falls prey to invaders. So here’s where “preserving health” comes in. 

Eating lots of different plant foods daily is an important part of preserving health. They provide the body with vital nourishment to keep it in tip-top condition. Plant foods also contain fiber, which promotes regular bowel movements, thus preventing the accumulation of toxins in the body. So eat a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, and mushrooms daily to preserve health and live a life full of vitality!
