Obesity and Diabetes May Worsen Cognitive Decline

Obesity and diabetes have been linked to aggravating Alzheimer’s disease. Studies have shown a clear link between mice fed a high-fat diet resulting in diabetes, and a subsequent deterioration in their cognitive abilities, including developing anxiety, depression, and worsening Alzheimer’s disease. Obesity and diabetes damage the nervous system, which exacerbates cognitive decline.

Obesity can lead to Hair Loss

Researchers from the Tokyo Medical and Dental University have discovered that obesity can lead to hair loss. Mice fed a high-fat diet had increased inflammation, which depleted hair follicle stem cells. This accelerated hair loss and resulted in smaller hair follicles.
