Research shows that individuals who consume a substantial quantity of fruits and vegetables are less likely to suffer cognitive impairment. However, it is not enough to just eat more, variety is also needed! Increasing the variety of fruits and vegetables consumed reduces the risk of cognitive decline, independent of quantity.
