Cordyceps Mycelium Moderates Immune Function
A clinical trial has provided further evidence that cordyceps mycelium may help boost the immune system. Researchers gave cordyceps mycelium culture extract to healthy adults and found that after supplementation, the natural killer cell cytotoxic activity within the body increased significantly. Natural killer cells play an important role in the immune system through activities like destroying cancer cells.
